My very favorite blog is http://www.scrapyland.blogspot.com/.  Susan does such a super fantastic job of getting us all motivated by doing her Starting Blox challenges. She gives us all the same layout and we put our own twist on it. It is so much fun seeing how different all of our pages look! We then get the extra inspiration of seeing each others ideas!

Starting Blox 14

I have had a creative block ever since we moved into the new house.....BUT this week I finally came out of it!! I hope everyone has a beautiful Easter. Hopefully this will spark me to do more!!!!

After moving in and getting all of the boxes put away .....I started an 8 day stretch at work so maybe by my next day off...Tuesday...I will blog about something crafty or at least an updated photo of the house. It has been wet and dreary here for a couple of days and I think it will stay that way for a few more....hope everyone stays dry!!

Tuesday is.......

Packing day!!!! I HATE packing...but I LOVE the idea of UNPACKING!! I cannot wait to be out of this apartment and in our own place! I have put off packing for too long now and here I am trying to get it done a.s.a.p. ! I also need to get a page done for starting blox 10.....Have a great Tuesday!

Starting Blox 9/Have a Super Saturday

One Week To Go

One week from today is the closing on our house!! I can't wait. But I guess I have to. Oh boy, I have tons and tons of packing to do and not enough days off between now and then. I am hoping to kick it into gear soon! Yeah! Have a great Friday whatever you are doing! I am heading for work!

Cards I Made While It Was Snowing

These are just some cards I threw together with my stamps and my Copic markers. I am just practicing and I can't wait to do more. I learned today that I should heat emboss before I color so that the colors stay in the lines.

T.G.I.F. and The House

I am so happy that it is friday and I think my cold is almost gone! I am going to spend the weekend packing for our big move. We FINALY found a house and it is looking good. Our closing date is set for March 13th, the day before my husband John's birthday. Officially two weeks from today! I still feel like it is a dream and it may not happen. The day we get the keys it will become reality!! Have a great day!

Greeting Farm Stamps

I just bought some Greeting Farm stamps. Tonight I actually opened them up and gave some stamping a try. I was very happy with how clean the stamped image came out. I pulled out my markers *a few copic and a few marvy * and got started. I wish I didn't have to go to work tomorrow!! I would be playing with my stamps :) I hope to get some more copic colors to work with soon! (I bought this at Funkie Munkie Scraps in Greer) You can find them online at www.thegreetingfarm.com.

Starting Blox 6

We got the prompt for starting blox 6 later in the day than usual. So it was hard to get started on it. But as usual I got really excited and it finally came to me what pictures to use. We loved having Rachel for our little trip to the ZOO. We took her to Mcdonalds before we dropped her off with her mom.

Something Rachel MAde

This cute little thing was made by super sweet little friend Rachel. She gave it to me on the day that we took her to the Zoo. I have it hanging from my rear view mirror in my car. Every day I see it and it makes me smile.

Funkie Munkie Scraps

Yippeeee!!!!!! I found a new local scrapbook store. I cannot believe it has been open for two months and I just heard about it. I guess it is because of my recent obsession of blog hopping! I am finding many new creative people out there and learning something in the process. I learned how to change the layout on my blog from the sister of the owner of the store. You can find the store at www.funkiemunkiescraps.blogspot.com. It is a cute store and it was easy to find. My BFF and fellow scrapbooker MB went with me on the adventure. We can't wait to take a class there!! Well that's it for tonight. Tomorrow I hope to get some cards made and work on Starting Blox 6.

TGIF---Three Days OFF

Hooray!!!!! I am so happy to have three days off. I was thinking that maybe I need a vacation but this will do very nicely. Hopefully I won't waste the time and it won't go by to fast!

Three Little Pumpkins

This page explains how I found out that I am going to have a Niece!!!! I made it this morning before I had to go to work....I turned around to use the computer for a while. When I turned back around I found Jack, one of our cats, licking the pictures on the page!!!!!!! For some reason he really loves the coating on a picture..... So now I am going to have to keep an eye on all of my projects. One day I will have a house and a craft room to close up my works in progress....silly cat!!!!!

Happy Wednesday

I can't believe that I made a page with a picture of me on it! It is very rare that I even let my picture be taken. Well the whole scrapyland starting blox thing is really getting me motivated to make pages and I am happy that I am getting some pages done. My next goal is to work on this blog so that I can present challenges to others. If only I didn't have to go to work this afternoon!!

Another Page Done

This is the page that I did for the starting blox on the scrapyland blog this week. I just finished it and finally got the picture uploaded. This page was so much fun for me. I want to do more. I just wish that I did not have to go to work today--hehe. Oh well, guess I must go to work anyway!

We looked at several Houses today with Pam, our agent. We have several promising houses that we are going to leave on our list. I feel positive about it.

Scrapyland Blog

I have been checking out the blog at Scrapy Land because my friend MB told me about it. I am going to make a couple of pages using their Starting Blox. I won't get to it until I get home from work tomorrow but it looks promising.

Quick Page

I made this page in about an hour. It was quick and simple. These are my oldest girls, they are growing up way too fast!!

It's Snowing

We don't usually get much if any snow around here so when it happens your husband wakes you up to look at it at 8am on a Sunday morning! This picture doesn't really show it well but there were some big flakes coming down. Now it is turning into freezing rain. Oh well, I hope for the one day when it snows enough for me to make a snowman and I can use those cool snowmen embellies and QK!!!

First Page

This is the first page I have completed for myself in a while. I did it in about 2 hours. I used the chocolat papers by SEI and I printed out my journaling from my computer. I cut the 2008 on my silhouette using the comic sans font. I tried to cut the title out as well but I think the paper must have been too thick and I am not used to setting it yet. I need more practice! I was going to scrapbook all day long today but that just didn't happen, as usual. Tomorrow we are going to look at houses with our real estate agent. Starting fresh once again on the house hunting. I just know 2009 is going to be our year!

This is my first post and I am so excited to get started. I have always wanted to create my own blog. I have to work all day tomorrow, but I am off this weekend and I am going to be posting some crafty stuff!! I hope to inspire others and generate my own creativity with this blog.
